Only sharing creates participation
Participation is important the more complex the context in which one works becoming, in most cases, the success factor.
To participate, one must share goals and feel part of what one does in the environment in which one works.
Vision and mission
Vision is a projection into the future and defines long-term goals based on values, aspirations and ideals.
Mission is about the present and defines the set of operations to achieve the vision.
If vision establishes where you want to get “someday,” mission is what you do “every day ” to get there.
Participation and sharing
There are different levels of participation and sharing, what we are looking for is a person who participates by sharing the mission, feeling the organization is his or her own, and contributing with maximum commitment on a daily basis...going beyond the limits of his or her role.
At this level of participation, division of work happens flexibly with enrichment and broadening of tasks.
